Good

The staff were very helpful, pleasant and friendly. Especially Josie. There was an issue with my booking when checking in.Josie and the manager did resolve the problem,I was very happy with the outcome.

The building is a beautiful old building with lots of character but the decor is very tired looking. Some of the carpet is actually very dirty looking. Our room was very big but the decor was not nice. It's such a shame as it has so much potential to be so much better.

place was quiet and I slept well. Car parking path was well lit and went straight to the door of the hotel whioch was good because it was raining and very dark.

I had 2 nights here, really enjoyed it.

The staff were really friendly and the food was great. I had 2 dinners and 2 breakfasts, plenty to choose from. The grounds are spacious and the walk along the river is must do, it's like a fairytale.

Nothing major, I would have liked to be able to get a bus into Limerick, however they were few and far between and the staff advised unreliable.

Run down hotel

Feel the hotel is run down, dated, and Carpets on corridors need cleaning. Room 108 is above the kitchen fan, I did ring down at 9.30 and the receptionist said they were turning off the fans but fans back on at 7.30am. I was getting up at that time anyway but if I was looking for a lay in, this room does not suit.

Rooms including bathroom in much need of an upgrade. Appreciate it’s an old building however floor boards in the room and hallway very noisy.

Lovely hotel with beautiful grounds.

Beautiful Location, not too far away from Limerick city. Plenty of parking. Big room, that was clean and tidy. Staff were lovely.

Nothing really. The Leisure centre being closed is the only thing I can think of.

Breakfast was an additional cost but well worth it so you do...

Breakfast was an additional cost but well worth it so you do not have to find a local restaurant, as this is situated quite a bit away from any local bistros. There was a bathtub in the room which was a huge plus since all of the other B&Bs we stayed in only had very small showers.

There was a wedding the day we arrived so the staff was disassembling furniture and moving tables above our rooms until around 10:30 pm, which caused a lot of unnecessary noise.

Hotel is nice.

Hotel is nice. Staff was very helpful. We arrived late and could place the order over the phone so we could have dinner at 9 pm when kitchen closes.

Dinner was ok. Breakfast was not so good. Took quite long before the order was taken. Selection was limited.

We found the bar (ate dinner) very good.

We found the bar (ate dinner) very good. The service was good and the food was very tasty. We were given a special dessert to honor us for our 40th wedding anniversary was very thoughtful! And very much appreciated. The breakfasts were delicious as well.

We didn't care for the bathroom in our room (#104). We were originally in #106 but the bathroom there was not working properly so we were moved. We were there 2 nights and our room was not cleaned nor were we given fresh towels until we called the desk and asked for some. That it was not cleaned was disappointing to us.

Very awesome location.

Very awesome location. We loved the bar that also served food, the parking, breakfast, and staff were all great.

The bed was very very hard, the room door confused us because you couldn’t lock it from the inside so we put a chair in front of it, and I woke up from someone else’s alarm clock that went off for 5 straight minutes. There were also a lot of spiderwebs and dirt in our room.

There is a path down the back to the Shannon River which you...

There is a path down the back to the Shannon River which you can walk along and we come across a fairy garden . The Shannon was fantastic with little rocks and swans ,what a treat . The accomadation gaves us the honeymoon suite and the antique furniture and size of the room , the view was so special , feely like the lady and Lord of the manner , which for a oldish couple was lovely
